Nintendo Lime Green Console (GBC)

it works, so thats all i need to know. - even if its a bit scratched or whatever, its pretty much as good as new. There many colours to choose from which is my main interest.

reunion - i cant afford a ds and i used to have a gameboy colour, then sold it so i buying another one becouse i remember how fun it was!!!

Durable and Addictive! - This console is very outdated, but has a lot of good old fashioned stuff that the newer consoles lack - durabilty. During my playing of a year, I had bashed it around 50 times accidentally or on pupose. If I did that to a DS, it would break on first impact! One problem I have got with it is that there wern t many good games and only Pokemon was really good. I was addicted to Pokemon - spent hours on it...Anyway, anyone interested in buying an old hand-held for nostagia value, this is the one for you (though I would reccomend the garish pink one I had). But if you are looking for the latest, you are looking in the wrong place!

Cheap As Chips, But Didn t Have It s Days! - The Game Boy Color was unfortunately, one of those consoles, which was released at a very late time, since it was out around summer 1998 and then within the next 2 years, came magazines with announcements of the new Game Boy Advance Console! The Game Boy Color was built for Game Boy Games that needed to have colour technology, in order for the cartridge games to be played! The most particular reason why this console was bought was so that young ones can play the latest Pokemon Silver, Gold & Crystal Versions in realistic colour, rather than just plain black and white, which that lasted with us for about 10 years at that time! The Game Boy Color also features little tiny gadgets, which include a built in headphone system, link cable plug inns, and a volume tuner for increasing and decreasing volume! All for at a cost of just 2 AA Batteries, which would normally last a week to 2 weeks for a normal paced gamer!I only wanted a Game Boy Color, so that I can play Wario Land 3, as Wario Land 3 needed a Game Boy Color, in order for it s play, at the time of it s release and I can remember paying my mum at least £30-£40 into getting me one of these small puppies! Nowadays, you can get one of these, for under a tenner! My Console Rating: 7/10: On The Ball, Down-But Not Out, OKMy Wish: Perhaps, if the Game Boy Color was released earlier around 1996-1997, then maybe it would have had a longer life and more games on the go!My Recommend Games For The Console: Super Mario Deluxe, Wario Land 2 & Wario Land 3Final Comments: Unless, you are a console collector, it is pointless, getting one of these consoles nowadays, since the Game Boy Advance has taken control of it! I still own my Game Boy Color, just for the sake of Trading and Raising Pokemon on the old Pokemon Cartridge Games! So I would only recommend this console, if you are low on cash or just need something to transfer data, such as Pokemon!Review By Captain Chris Kipper!

Excellent - While outdated now, the GB color was and still is a must for any hardcore Ninty fan. For its time, the console was a masterpiece, bringing the now famous names of Mario, Zelda and Pokemon into glorious 16-bit colour. Although the Advance, SP and now DS are probably better buys now, the color is still, IMO, one of the best consoles that Nintendo brought out.
